Misson Statement

The Mission Hill Health Movement (MHHM), incorporated as a 501c3 in 1977, is a volunteer group dedicated "to creating health, housing and educational programs to serve Mission Hill".

Our mission in the past few years has evolved from that of creating and 'spinning off' services which then continue to function independently (e.g. elderly housing, school dental programs, pre- and after-school services) to a model in which MHHM will develop and maintain ongoing programs. As the financial climate has tightened and traditional health providers and educators have become more stressed we believe it has become more important for the Health Movement to identify and creatively fill gaps in health education and care.
